This is your chance to win a brand new Husqvarna Viking Sewing Machine with Embroidery Unit and Quilters Kit!
The BTHC Foundation is teaming up with CFAM Radio 950 for a baby blanket sewing contest! The REAL winners of this competition may be the youngest we’ve ever seen! Your goal is to make a creative and cuddly blanket. Every blanket you sew gives you a chance to win the Grand Prize — a Husqvarna Viking sewing machine with Embroidery Unit and Quilters Kit — valued at more than $4000 — from Annie’s Sewing Centre in Winkler. Once the contest is over, all baby blanket entries will be donated to the Boundary Trails Health Centre Foundation to be auctioned off!
Here’s what you need to know, before you start to sew.
- YOU must sew the blanket being entered.
- The blanket must be at least 40 inches by 40 inches
- The blanket must be double-sided.
- Completed baby blankets can be dropped off at Golden West Radio studios in Winkler or Altona, from now until November 26th.
The winner will be announced on November 29th.
For more details or to see photos of completed entries, head to the CFAM Radio 950 Website.
The Baby Blanket Sew Off — a big contest, making a big difference in our community!
All baby blanket entries will be on display and/or up for silent auction from Dec 10-24 at the BTHC Festival of Lights. All proceeds will be going to support the BTHC Building for The Future Campaign. Because of the overwhelming amount of entries, some blankets will be donated to Cheer Boards, Genesis House, and Pregnancy Care Centre.
