Festival of Lights – Dec 10-24

Thank you to all who took part in the first annual Festival Of Lights, and in so doing, making it a huge success.  Through the Baby Blanket Silent Auction and other donations the event raised approximately $4000 for the growing needs at BTHC.

Dec 10-24

We were very excited to invite the community to be a part of the first annual BTHC Foundation Festival of Lights and Baby Blanket Silent Auction to help us in fund raising for the rising needs at BTHC.  Sponsored by Winkler/Morden Coop and supported by CFAM Radio 950.

Nestled in the Southland Mall, you were able to find a small forest of lit Christmas Tree’s provided by local businesses for your family to stroll through.  We also had the baby blankets from our Baby Blanket Sewing Contest on display and up for silent auction.

The beautiful Christmas atmosphere included coffee, snacks and your favorite Christmas melodies.  Over 150 Baby Blankets lined the room with breath taking talent.

BTHC Foundation would like to thank our many volunteers that made this possible.

All donations to BTHC Foundation.

Some of the baby blankets on display were donated to local charities such as Genesis House, PV Pregnancy Care Centre, and local Cheer Boards.

Here are some of the more than 150 baby blankets that were on display and for sale in the silent auction.  These blankets were donated through the CFAM Radio 950 Baby Blanket Contest.

Tables were set up and coffee brewed for you to enjoy while you browsed.

There were yummy free cookies for those 10 years and younger.

The beautiful baby blankets, Christmas lights, coffee, cookies, and coloring contest made it a lovely atmosphere for the whole family.
