Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy 

Central Regional Rehabilitation Services (CRRS) is a regional program responsible for the delivery of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech & Language Pathology and Audiology services to Central Region.  Boundary Trails Health Centre serves as one of two regional bases for the coordination and delivery of services.

Central Regional Rehab Services provides services to inpatients and outpatients at Boundary Trails Health Center.  Outpatient programming at Boundary Trails Health Centre includes services for preschool pediatric clients.


Physiotherapists assess, treat and provide education for a variety of problems related to injury, physical illness or long term disability.  The Physiotherapist uses a variety of treatment techniques and physical modalities to assist individuals in achieving their most independent level of functioning.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapists strive to promote, maintain and improve the function and independence of clients to maximize their quality of life.  The Occupational Therapist uses goal directed activities in the assessment and treatment of people who are experiencing a change in their daily functioning related to an injury, physical or mental illness or long term disability.
