High School Volunteer Program

Our High School Volunteer Program is open to students in grades 9-12 with an interest in giving something back to the community, or looking to get a hands-on experience in a healthcare setting. Students would spend their time with inpatients on the Rehab/Surgery ward and could be puzzling, reading the newspaper, or simply sitting and getting to know someone new from the community. We are always looking for sensitive, respectful and caring individuals to assist with our patients. Students, please see your high school guidance counselor for an application or contact the Activities/Recreation Coordinator for more details.

*Summer Volunteer* opportunities are available. We ask for a minimum commitment of one shift per week.

Volunteers placements could include visiting with patients, offering friendly support to patients and their families, and assisting with patient meals when requested by nursing staff.

Palliative/Cancer Care

Greeter/Navigator Volunteer Program

Volunteers will welcome and provide assistance with directing patients and visitors to various departments at our hospital.

Therapy Dog Program

Our Therapy Dog Program promotes emotional wellness for our patients, providing opportunities for companionship, visits, physical touch with our therapy dog, warmth and unconditional love.
