Friday, October 27th was an evening of international intrigue at the Access Event Centre in Morden at this year’s James Bond themed Gala. A capacity crowd enjoyed complimentary martinis, mixed by Capital K Distilleries from Winnipeg and tried their hand at casino tables, while enjoying live music by Jayme Giesbrecht and the Soul Revue Band during the cocktail hour. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal and heard updates on the hospital expansion from Southern Health’s Kyle MacNair, Implementation Lead before Winnipeg comedian Dean Jenkinson took the stage for some laughs. We named our first Winter 50/50 Early Bird winner, and fabulous door prizes were awarded to seven lucky attendees, sponsored by our generous community. BTHC Foundation Board Chair wrapped the evening with closing remarks.

$100,000 was raised throughout the evening and will be used to purchase advanced medical equipment and support unique programs at BTHC like our Palliative Care and Spiritual Care programs.
