Come on Down to this year’s Fall Gala!

We will be inviting members of a sold out crowd to “Come On Down” to our Fall Gala on Friday, October 25, 2024 at the Access Event Centre in Morden. This year, we are embracing a “Price is Right” theme and the evening will be filled with fun and classic pricing games, while raising funds for our local hospital. Guests will have the opportunity to channel their inner game show contestant and have the option to dress in bright colours, with catchy slogans and bring lots of enthusiasm.

Orientation will be provided.

23rd Annual Golf Tournament Raises Over $90,000

Second time was the charm for this year’s annual charity golf tournament! After rain forced a reschedule to August 29th, the weather mostly cooperated for a great day at the Winkler Centennial Golf Course. 144 golfers spent the day on the greens in support of their local hospital and over $90,000 was raised for unique programs, advanced medical equipment, and continuing education at Boundary Trails Health Centre. An exciting addition to the day was the WestJet Gift of Flight elimination draw. Scott McLeod was the lucky winner of a pair of tickets to anywhere WestJet flies! The Foundation would like to thank the players, sponsors and the Winkler golf course for their patience and continued support of its efforts to enhance healthcare in our communities.

BTHC Foundation Makes First Payment Towards $10 Million Pledge

Ahead of the Boundary Trails Health Centre Foundation’s Annual General Meeting, the BTHC Foundation Board of Directors presented Southern Health-Santé Sud with its first payment towards the $10 million pledge for the expansion of BTHC. Against the backdrop of a busy construction site, BTHC Foundation Board Chair Ben Friesen, along with Vice Chair Ernie Penner and Executive Director Shannon Samatte-Folkett handed over a cheque for $2.5 million. It’s a truly remarkable achievement when one considers that just 12 short months ago, ground was broken and construction began at the expansion site.

This tremendous milestone would be possible without the continued support, belief in our cause and the trust from our communities. The future of healthcare is being shaped right now because of the generosity of our donors. Thank you!
L to R: BTHC Foundation Executive Director Shannon Samatte-Folkett, BTHC Foundation Board Chair Ben Friesen, BTHC Foundation Vice Chair Ernie Penner, Southern Health-Santé Sud CEO Jane Curtis, Southern Health-Santé Sud Implementation Lead Kyle MacNair, and BTHC Director Joel Nelson.
