Dianne Heinrichs published her first book, Bubba Claus Helps Santa Spread Joy, just before Christmas. After losing her husband Myles to cancer and inspired by her own cancer journey, Dianne channelled her grief into writing a Christmas story using her husband’s holiday nickname, “Bubba Claus.” Over 700 books later, Dianne came to the hospital to present a cheque for $1,620 for cancer care at BTHC. The book has been read internationally, with people sending pictures from Japan, Australia, the Netherlands, the Philippines, the United States and across Canada.
