Rehab/Assessment – Recreation Therapy
The Rehab/Assessment Unit has 25 beds. 14 beds may be used for rehabilitation or coordinated team assessments. Eight to ten beds may be allocated for awaiting placements, those clients who need supervision in hospital who are paneled for nursing homes. Respite care is also available under prearranged conditions to care for the client. This is a service that is provided by the facility to provide relief for the family/caregiver.
Recreation/Activities program is a service provided on the Rehab/Assess unit. This program is to help improve care to clients awaiting placement, assessment, respite and rehabilitation.
