An incredible, record-breaking $85,000 was raised at this year’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament! Hosted by the Minnewasta Golf & Country Club, this year’s tournament sold out in record time. The Foundation welcomed Pembina Valley Canvas and Winkler Canvas as Tournament Sponsors and 152 golfers enjoyed a picture perfect day on the course in support of enhanced patient care at Boundary Trails Health Centre. Charlie’s Coffee from Manitou was on hand with complementary coffee to fuel the golfers before the round and snack pizzas were provided by Boston Pizza. Sponsors provided several exciting additions to the tournament, like the Co-op @ Home Putting Challenge – which came down to a three-way putt off to declare a winner. Doug Frost from the City of Morden’s team emerged the victor and took home a PitBoss Smoker. Congratulations to the team from Essen Transport who won the Low Score – Female Team prize. RBC captured the Low Score – Mens prize and the Morden Physio team took home the Mixed Team Low Score. Dr. Chernos and her team from the C.W. Wiebe Medical Clinic were awarded a prize for the Most Honest Score.

Funds raised at this year’s tournament will be used to purchase advanced medical equipment and support unique programs at BTHC such as the Palliative Care and Spiritual Care programs. Special thank you to our sponsors, volunteers and players who made the day so much fun!
